Frank models his completed trad anchor. / Frank models his completed trad anchor. One weakness of this anchor is that all pieces of protection are in the same crack. While the boulder is unlikely to move--we performed the "stomping test" to check for vibration--any expansion of the crack could result in all cams loosening. They have a common point of failure. (Note that we never actually climbed or rappelled on this anchor.)
