Ritchey fork break. "Fork had been creaking for some time, then suddenly felt really loose when climbing out of the saddle." Fortunately, no crash. Boris tells me the fork was new in 1987 (30 years old) and the bike has at least 12000 miles. Photo courtesy of Boris Foelsch.
